Gafieira Dance Brasil® is created, directed and performed by Paulo Moura and Cliff Korman in collaboration with outstanding guests among the practitioners and virtuosos of the style. The repertoire includes compositions by Pixinguinha, K-Ximbinho,
Waldir Azevedo, Zequinha de Abreu, Chiquinha Gonzaga, Sivuca, Lupicino Rodrigues, and Donga, as well as original songs by Moura and Korman. Gafieira Dance Brasil was initiated in 1997 under the umbrella of La Centrale dell'Arte International Art Exchange and is the first international project to bring the traditional "feel" of Brazilian ballroom to the contemporary world of the performing arts.
